get a little bit of Magic Find
Magic Find is incredibly important. A good way to get it is by using a helmet with three open sockets and putting three perfect Topazes in it. Then you will get 74% Magic Find. (If your character is a Sorceress, you can also use an Armor with four Topazes to get faster Cast Rate, but it will speed up your Magic Find run). In the early game, it's tough to get anything more valuable than the Magic Find on a helmet. And according to the following graph, you will find 74% Magic Find is a good amount.
This is a Magic Find diminishing return graph. You can see the blue one goes up at a 45-degree angle to find more magic items. But the orange one (hunting for uniques items) tapers off very quickly. When over four or five hundred, it gets almost flat. Because you're looking for a Shako in D2R Ladder, so 74% Magic Find is enough.
Sorceress Equip Four Topaz Armor For More Cast Rate
You could also go ahead and do four topaz in armor, but getting more cast rate will speed up your magic find. On the helmet, it's more appropriate to put the topaz in than the width to use up your body armor slot now, as we mentioned on that armor faster cast rate. If you are a sorceress getting more faster cast rate, it'll obviously with any caster in the entire game, castrate will benefit your damage because you can cast your spells faster but also you can get there faster.
Don’t Sacrifice Kill Speed and Damage for High Magic Find
So early on in the game, you really don't want to push too high on magic find just because it generally will sacrifice a ton of kill speed and damage, unless you have that magic find in small charms or Gheed's Fortune Grand Charm. Sacrificing a ton of room up here is kind of going to be tough because you'll lose things like faster cast rate, or lose skills in all res, you definitely want to have your spirit shield over here not the ones that have a magic spine on it. So don't push too high on the magic find, and don't press too hard to get more magic find, 140 or 150 magic find is a super solid amount especially early on.
Mephisto
Mephisto is the quickest and easiest way to get Harlequin Crest Shako in Diablo 2. We're going to Durance of Hate - Level 2. The trick here in Durance of Hate - Level 2, is that you want to turn left from the exit of the tile that you ported in on here. Keep turning left hoping to find that doorway up to Durance of Hate - Level 3. Once you find Durance of Hate, Level 3, you also need to kill the council. The council has great opportunities to drop runes or other good items. You've done the effort of either teleporting or running here, so take advantage of it. Find Mephisto then kill him.
Both Mephisto and Andariel are great ways to find D2R Shako Updated. Mephisto has a higher treasure class, so can drop better D2R Ladder Items . On the flip side, Andariel is known for dropping unique rings and amulets which is a solid jewelry option. Although, each one of these acts is harder than the last, making the efforts to get your hands on the item is well worth the time and energy invested as it is one of the best unique armor pieces in the game.
