The year of the Adidas Superstar Women gets another contribution with this exotic makeover just for the ladies. The women’s adidas Originals Superstar 80s gets both a metal shelltoe and pony hair upper, also detailed with reptile-textured leather for a unique and stylish look that adds to the year-long celebration of the iconic low-top hoops shoe.
Pharrell and Adidas Superstar Cheap continue to collaborate, utilizing the adidas Stan Smith as a more than ready canvas for the creative visionary’s crafty work. Yesterday we were treated to a preview of a brand new creation from the founding member of The Neptunes featuring a felt tennis ball like upper in a reference to the sneaker’s performance past. It looks like there’s even more in store as the Grammy award winner took to Instagram to debut a rainbow array of Adidas Superstar Men for the near future.
More fuel is added to the shelltoe-mania fire for 2022 with the Adidas Superstar Sale “3D Camo” pack. The two-shoe set of the Superstar presents the iconic silhouette in premium leather constructions with unique “3D” camouflage textures consisting of braille-like raised dots across the upper in camo shapes. The two color options include timber brown and white, each with off-white sole units and shelltoes for a vintage feel.
