don't you hear the angels cry
in the dark and cloudy sky
see the people down on earth
kill each other, unsheathe the sword
and when the angels stop their weep
they´ll hold a moment, fall asleep
an arrow, provided with humanly blood,
hit the mark - the angel's hearts.

heaven becomes a place of fear
not worth to tell you now, my dear,
that earth becomes a place to live
for murderers like one of this.

and memorize, my little child,
ev'rytime you'll find a dove
with an arrow in its chest
let it remind you of these days
when guns and weapons take the rest
of person's bread and peoples' pride.

go your way with this phrase in your mind
change the world and stop the crime
so angels now may sing their songs
of heavenly peace in such a time
where arrows fly across the sky
and guns are singin' about liberty.

Mein erstes Gedicht und direkt Englisch. Nun ja... ^_^
Es reimt sich nicht oft, macht aber nichts, finde ich.
Wenn irgendwo Grammatik oder Orthographie nicht stimmt - bitte melden!

ein wirklich tolles gedicht.
erstmals der text und dann stimmt das metrum auch noch (ist bei den wenigstens der fall).
wirklich schön, wieso hat denn noch niemand was dazu geschrieben? ôO

Vielleicht hat einfach nur keiner Bock zum Übersetzen. xD

Ein allgemeines Metrum kann ich da nicht finden, weil manche Zeilen wirklich länger und eigenartiger sind als der Rest. Aber im gesamten... joa...
