New virtual thoroughbred publication looking for writers and input!
Looking for article suggestions as well as writers. We also have some advertising space available for upcoming events, sales, breeding ads and more!
This publication will be in pdf format, and won't be your run-of-the-mill fluff magazine. We're talking about Thoroughbred racing in sims around the world. This will be a fantastic opportunity to advertise around the world, as well as learn about sims in other nations and top farms the globe over.
We will also be releasing a family of publications dealing with sims in general and other breeds (maybe Arabs?) if there is enough interest.
Please email
aeolus@thehershmeister.com, or msn me at the same.
PS - We'd love some translators as well!!!!

Sounds really good.
I have some Thoroughbred racehorses myself, wich mostly runs in real existing races. Also I plan to breed. I have two good black-type breeding-mares. 2012 will be the first foals born. But I still don't know wich stallions I will use.
It would be interesting to have some worldwide companions, who have the same goal and are as interested in learning about the stuff around a Thoroughbred as I am.
Also it would be interesting to see how the others let there dream of a racehorsefarm come true and talk about some international breeding between the virtual farms.
But in Germany the virtual racehorse-scene is very small. Most of the Thoroughbred owners have racehorses who never have been raced and are mostly to old or who have no authentic qualification because they are trained in to many disziplines at the same time. Also there are no races and no real qualificated racehorses at all.
The only real good racehorsefarm I know is Rennstall Mahldorf. But they are a closed community where you only can participate, if you have an account there.
So I think the idea you have is really really good, but in Germany there will be only a few people who are interested and have the nessesary knowlege to support that publication. You are kind of a pioneer in that disziplin of virtual horsesport.
Greeting, Katharina

Thank you for your thoughts! Yes, it would be wonderful to open up some international breeding and competition.
Would you be interested in translating the issues from English to German to make it easier on German-speaking readers? I'd love to offer issues in several languages instead of just English.

Hey ya

I'm breeding Thoroughbred racehorses as well. So I'm interested in your magazine. Thoroughbred racehorses are really rarely and not really realistic in their potential.
But it is quiet hard to be realistic

Thanks! I'd love to hear more from you guys, if you have any links to racing boards, stables, etc I'd love to see them!!!
Perhaps a teaser image of the front cover will get folks amped? :-X

Well, it is nearly perfect o.o
Other stables are rarely as well... but if I have time i will build up my own one... and so it would be good to know more about them and what other breeders think.
